A&K’s Chilliwack Engagement Photo Session

When I met Ashley and Kevin for the first time, I loved how they shyly would look at each other for confirmation, and how Ashley would always take the lead but you know Kevin was just as interested in every single word we spoke. When we met up they had already decided they wanted to book me for their wedding next April at the beautiful Fraser River Lodge in Agassiz, but getting to know them a little further is always important to me before booking, we have to make sure we like each other, and we did! So phew. ;) I’m super excited for their wedding as even though I’ve been to the Fraser River Lodge a few times and second shot, it’s the first wedding I’m doing under my own biz, so I have SO many great spots and opportunities I’m looking forward to! It should also be an amazing time of year as I love spring weddings – crisp and beautiful with a touch of flowers.

For a contrast, we did their engagement session out in Chilliwack at the Great Blue Heron Reserve. They wanted those gorgeous fall colours and did mother nature deliver or what!? I really like photographing out in Chilliwack, even though I grew up there I didn’t really have the appreciation of the beauty for it until I got older, and of course became a photographer! Now I can’t get enough anytime I get to go back and photograph sessions, ESPECIALLY engagement sessions or weddings.
