It had been awhile since I photographed a longer day wedding as primarily I focus on more intimate wedding photography, but I was stoked to share this day with Matthew and Alyssa, bringing me back to all the weekends I spent chasing a bride and groom around for 7-8 hours! I loved their easy going nature and similarities that I found in things I love too! No surprise there as I am ALL about Soulmate Clients!

This day was a fairly warm one in Langley. Starting with the getting ready, we jumped into a backyard ceremony where I felt the guys sweating in the sun, but it was beautiful and heart warming to watch these two get married. They had already been together for a decade so to have that moment of I do! was fun to see.

We headed over to Williams Park to get some photos away from the sun and this was a spot they both loved to go. We then wrapped up with a barn reception with some great speeches, a beautiful first dance, shoe game and of course – bouquet and garter tosses!
