Vasilika & Mike’s Engagement Photos in Langley

I met these two through a dachshund meetup of all places about a year ago. They had brought their little dachshund Kentucky (who is so cute) along and over time I got to know Mike and Vasilika quite well! When the time came around and Mike proposed I was thrilled to hear that Vasilika wanted me to photograph their wedding! As she was in the process of picking a date and venue it was a pleasure getting to know her beyond just our dogs. :) Then once they picked their venue I was even more excited to hear that they will be getting married at Manning Park Resort! I grew up going camping all the time at Manning Park so I am so stoked to go up there and photograph their wedding.

Vas and Mike are a bit camera shy so I had told them we would just do a family session for their engagement photos, as they originally didn’t want to do them. I always think it’s a good idea so I convinced them that some pictures with their dogs would be a great idea. Little did they know that half their session would just be the two of them – hehehe. So tricky! In the end they were so thrilled with the results and happy they had done their engagement session, something I love to hear!
