Becky & Simon’s Wedding at Heron’s Bridge [Abbotsford Wedding Photographer]

Last month before I headed off to Alberta I had the pleasure of photographing Simon & Becky’s wedding at the gorgeous Heron’s Bridge out in Abbotsford. This place has all the charm of a backyard wedding but with the open space and variety of some of the best venues in the area. There’s tons of amazing big trees, a pond with a stunning bridge, willow trees, a ravine for photos, a nice outdoor tent for the reception, a gazebo area for the ceremony and more. Not to mention one of the best getting ready spots I’ve seen!

This day was a nice sunny but not too hot day and with the tree lined property, it was the perfect weather. We started off the day with Becky getting ready (where I ran into one of my favourite florists – Barb from Blooms and Beyond) and then moved into some photos of just the girls of the bridal party. Once Simon showed up we did an emotional first look and into the rest of the bridal party photos. I love doing first looks as it gets the nerves out of the way and then once we got to the ceremony it was straight into the reception almost right after!

Simon and Becky are two kind and loving people who were surrounded by a stellar bridal party and their friends and family from around the world! Congrats again to these two and here’s some of my favourites from the day!
