Christmas Tree Cutting with the Grozell’s [Chilliwack Family Photographer]

December 18, 2015

One of the things I love about wedding ‘off season’ is even though I’m still busy with lots of portraits, I get a little bit more time to branch out into different things. I’ve always wanted to do a session with cutting down a Christmas tree as I think this is such an awesome family event for little ones and I’m going to go out on a limb (ha) and say I just wanted to go smell all the freshly cut trees. So I went out with my cousin’s family to cut down theirs out in Chilliwack at Woodsong Christmas Tree farm! It was pretty rainy and cold but it was fun to watch the kids run around picking trees and then cut the final choice down!

I have a few more different types of sessions and some fantastic changes for 2016 ahead. Stay tuned, but for now enjoy this awesome little Christmas Tree Cutting Family Session.

Not going to lie, would love a little more snow so I can go skiing next week.

I’d also love some to do some photos in. Snow is such a beautiful, natural light reflector that makes your images pop!

Anyone who knows me, knows that you take me into the woods for your photos and I am a happy photog! Of course today did not disappoint with that softer fall sunshine peeking through the trees at Golden Ears. Perfect way to kick off fall photos after not photographing clients for almost a month. 💜🌲
