Michelle & Mike

Michelle and I met recently at the Fort Langley Wedding Swap where she was the lucky winner of an engagement session. So once I got in touch with her we decided to schedule something as soon as possible, making it last weekend! With sessions like these I always love when they go to people who really appreciate them AND I love how I get the chance to have a little more freedom in the choices. In this case I picked the location, as I’ve shot at Derby Reach before but not further down the road in this awesome little spot. We lucked out as it was raining on the drive to our location, then just barely misting as I got out of the car and met up with Michelle and Mike, but then it stopped just long enough for us to shoot because as soon as I got back in my car to leave it starting pouring! What luck this year!

I had a great time getting to know Michelle and Mike, particularly as one of their favourite places is Montana. I’ve always wanted to travel there and hope to in the near future so I’m very happy to say I’ll know some well versed people in the area. I should mention they even got engaged there!
