Jay & Meghan’s Engagement Session at Harrison Lake

When I met Jay and Meghan earlier this year, right away we clicked (hah). They are so easy going and their love story has been a quick and amazing one! They had originally booked me for a 2017 wedding in Pitt Meadows, but after a couple months of thought they had contacted me to move it up to this September in a family’s beautiful Langley backyard. This type of setting is perfect for their easy going and earthy nature. It was so lucky that they had moved it when they did as I had another couple want to book me for the new date the day after! I would have hated to lose these guys as I’m really excited to photograph their big day.

After a rainy reschedule, we headed out to Harrison Lake to do some engagement photos in late May. It was a perfect location as they had got engaged in Harrison and also Jay is an on call firefighter who has worked out at the Harrison Fire Hall a number of times. I love when people pick places with meaning! Also with it being a quiet Sunday night it made for a beautiful backdrop. Here’s some of my favourites from the session. I’ll see you in September M & J!
