Jess & Greg’s Wedding in Langley [Fraser Valley Photographers]

The first wedding of the year is always a little extra exciting. It’s a fresh new start to a season, we take all that we learned in the year before and hit the ground running… and of course all those goals we set at the beginning of the year we are anxious to get going for the very first!

When I had met Jessica at the beginning of last year to book her wedding, she said she really didn’t want snow (which we had a ton at the time) as it would be too cold and as I’m writing this it’s actually freezing outside so I know what she meant. So, with It being a February wedding we fully prepared for rain and much to our extreme happiness it ended up being a gorgeous day! A little cold still of course but nothing unbearable.

We started off at their church for the wedding ceremony, moved over to Brookswood for family photos and bridal party photos and then off to Langley Golf Club for their reception which we photograph a lot at. I love that they chose to their portraits at a less common park that I had mentioned, and even more loved that it had a baseball diamond as they are sporty types and we had done some of their engagement photos on a baseball diamond as well.

The day was full of giggles, a few tears and some awesome dance floor moves. Thanks again to Jess & Greg for inviting us to photograph this day for you and we are excited to showcase our favourites from the day…
