Krista & Tom’s Wedding at Thompson Rivers University in Kamloops

I can still remember jumping on the trampoline, making “perfect mud” and playing Super Mario World with my best friend Amy. Those memories of my childhood are extremely amplified these days as I’m approaching my birthday in a couple weeks. So what does this have to do with this post? Well Krista is Amy’s younger sister, so although I spent most of my childhood, many of my teen years and now a number of my adult years with Amy, Krista was often hanging around in the background and showing up of course throughout events of our friendship. So when Krista messaged me asking to photograph her wedding, it was an immediate yes and complete honour. I had also photographed Amy’s younger brother’s wedding a few years back in 2011, but now that I’m 100% into the wedding photography world, this was a whole different experience! Not to mention a different city and weather from before.

I was very stoked to be photographing in Kamloops at Thompson Rivers University. More specifically at the Horticultural Gardens. So beautiful. Check out their day and expect to see some familiar faces…
