Matt & Terynn’s wedding at Queens Park, New West

Matt and Terynn are the perfect example of how I love to come across some of my couples. I first met Terynn at the Fort Langley Wedding Swap in 2014, the same time I met Stacey. By then I had already booked  Ashley & Paul so both Stacey and Terynn had heard of me! Then we met again at Ashley & Paul’s wedding where Terynn was in the wedding party and Matt played some amazing music throughout the reception! Then fast forward to this year and once again we met at Stacey & Jonny’s wedding! By the time we finished Matt and Terynn’s awesome engagement session in Fort Langley, these two had become fast friends of mine. It always makes things that much more meaningful when I photographed their wedding a few weeks ago, as I was becoming quite close!

Matt and Terynn’s wedding was in the beautiful Rose Garden with the reception at Centennial Lodge, both in Queens Park. One of my favourite things was how detailed the reception was, a very rustic yet elegant theme!

This day in New West followed the weekend of July 4th that was incredibly hot, and let me tell you, even though we had some rain for the ceremony, I’m pretty sure that all of the guests and even more so the bridal party was happy for the change. It allowed for a very beautiful and not so scorching hot day. These two are full of so much generosity, love, fun and friendship that I feel it was an honour to be there amongst their closest family and friends. I had an amazing time photographing this day and know that I will definitely be seeing more of these two as time goes on. Especially as they only live about 5 minutes away!
