Mel & Travis’ Wedding at Semiahmoo Fish & Game Club

When I had met Mel and Travis to do their engagement session earlier this year, I knew I’d get a long with them as they brought an adorable long dog of their own – Walter! They are also full of silly faces, laughs and a love that radiates off them. Mel is outgoing, crazy (in a good way) and full of character, it was so easy to get a long with her! Then Travis who has a clear affinity for Mel in every kiss, hug and smile… How could you not love hanging out with them!

Their wedding was at Semiahmoo Fish and Game club in Surrey. Now it seems like a bit of an interesting spot for a wedding but this venue actually is very beautiful with a creek running through it, a beautiful little gazebo area for guests or as Mel & Travis did it, their ceremony! Then bridges galore and with the beautiful decorations that Mel, Travis and Mel’s mom worked hard on, this place is a fantastic place to get married! I love when venues come together with variety but you don’t have to go anywhere else for getting ready or any of the portrait photos! It just makes things easier. We lucked out with some awesome weather – beautiful but not too hot!

This day was no different from their engagement with all the crazy faces, love and of course Walter along for some of the ceremony and photos! Only difference is they got to spend the day with some awesome family and friends! Here’s some from their day…
