Dee & Kelly’s Golden Ears Park Engagement Session [Maple Ridge Wedding Photographer]
May 1, 2018Eddie & Joyce’s Engagement Session at Derby Reach
May 19, 2018The story of how I met these two is a bit of a twisty but awesome one. Naomi and her parents actually met me at a wedding show a couple years ago as they were helping her sister (and my now good friend) Mel plan her wedding in very short period of time! Mel wasn’t even there but I had a great chat with Naomi and their parents and so I met with Mel shortly after and booked their wedding back in 2016 (was it 2016 – I think so)! So you may recognize Naomi from some of her photos! Then back in December, Naomi got in touch with me about doing her wedding! I love doing weddings of people I already know from past clients as there is already a bit of a comfort level there, some familiarity and makes the process a little easier for them as well!
A couple weeks ago we met up out in Port Moody – which is an area I love! It may seem that I *love* a lot of spots around here and I really do, but I definitely do end up more in my favourite places lately. Chances were that Naomi and Anthony had their very first date at the Boathouse in Port Moody so thought it would be fun to do a few photos inside and then explore Rocky Point Park for the rest of the session. They had also walked through the area on their first date so I like the full circle aspect of this session!
These two are very easy to be around, they are VERY affectionate which made my job a breeze and they opted for lots of giggles, climbing through Jurassic park ferns and walking and chatting with me for a good lengthy time. We even managed to get through a ton of wedding planning ideas too! For both of us!
A little different take as we start off with a black and white, but man, this indoor location rocked that grayscale vibe. Enjoy the rest… It’s worth a gander!
