Sandy & Graeme’s Buntzen Lake & Langley Wedding

I met Sandy and Graeme just a couple months ago before their wedding with their *almost* brand new little baby girl and other little girl in tow. They were planning a bit of a widespread wedding with a morning wedding at the beautiful Buntzen Lake and then reception out in Walnut Grove at the West Langley Hall. I often hike out at Buntzen so I was stoked to be able to actually photograph a wedding at the beautiful spot! Although Sandy & Graeme ended up having to have the wedding in a little field due to a race the day of, the spot they picked was intimate and gorgeous in it’s own special way.

On the day of I drove out to Buntzen Lake and was met with a huge downpour! I actually don’t mind a bit of rain on a wedding day (it makes the colours pop!) but this was a bit extreme! However as I waited with most of the guests and the groomsmen, the rain stopped just as Sandy and her bridesmaids arrived! It was perfect timing. After a few photos down at the beach we headed out to Langley for some photos, particularly at Campbell Valley Park. By this time it had turned into an absolutely gorgeous day! The day then wrapped up out at West Langley Hall!

This day was full of so much love, and a little twist with how much Sandy and Graeme involved their 2 little girls (who are so cute)! Check out some of my favourites from the day…
