Summer [Prom Photographer]

One of my favourite things about having a Dachshund meet up group is not only do I get to meet a lot of fellow dachshund owners from the dog owner perspective (and Farfel gets to make new friends), I get to really make some new friends and connections throughout the Fraser Valley! Since at the Dachshund meet up it’s not secret that I’m a photographer, especially with my secret dachshund project coming up (more about that in the future), Crystal aka Dax’s mom contacted me about doing some prom photos for her daughter Summer.

I don’t do a lot of prom photos but it was much like photographing wedding parties with pretty dresses and a regular portrait session. Summer looked amazing on this fantastic day in her life, it brought a lot of memories back to when I was graduating… MANY years ago now! We met in Abbotsford at Gardner Park which is an absolutely fantastic location for any portrait session, wedding, engagement or anything with so much variety. The place was packed with a few schools having their prom pictures done but we managed to work around all the people and get pictures with all of Summer’s good friends.
