Dress without the Stress at Whonnock Lake [Maple Ridge Wedding Photographer]

Sean & Adria have become really good friends with us over the last couple years and after we photographed their wedding back in June at Redwoods, Adria has been itching to get out and do something a bit more creative – ok me too. So we headed out to Whonnock Lake last week and created some additional wedding photos for them. I’m a huge fan of trash the dress sessions in general but the name has never fit, so Sean helped coin our new term of “Dress without the Stress” sessions because that’s exactly what these are! A chance to take the time to do some wedding photos without having to worry about guests or a timeline… and as evidence on this day, it gave us a chance to play around a little and get creative with some smoke bombs. This are a hit and I love the effect they give especially in the picture perfect woods of Whonnock Lake. We had some amazing light on this day as it was, so enjoy some of my favourite photos to date!!
