Danielle & Pieter’s Backyard Wedding [South Surrey Photographer]

We met Danielle & Pieter through Pieter’s friend Dave… Well actually Dave’s other half Cheryll is who introduced me and Danielle! But we’ll give Dave some credit since both Cheryll and Dave *were* on our softball team the last two years. I had gotten to know Danielle a little bit before the wedding and I loved how laid back she was and super easy to get along with, so when we showed up for their charming backyard wedding, we knew it was going to be a great day. Pieter’s parents live on some gorgeous property in South Surrey and this was SUCH a treat with willow trees, white washed fences and a pond!

We started with some getting ready with Danielle – which started off the day perfectly. Some laughs, some drinks and some awesome friends that clearly love this couple. Then we went into a beautiful ceremony next to the pond, an endless supply of spots for bridal party photos and then a reception that had everyone in attendance bursting into laughter. I loved the little details at this wedding so there’s quite a few of those shots but check them out for yourself below. Also, if anyone has a backyard wedding coming up in the next couple years I’d love to hear from you, they’ve become my new favourite to photograph!
