S&A’s Crescent Beach / Beecher Place Wedding Photography

It’s no secret that I’m out by the ocean any chance I get and my go-to spot is always Crescent Beach. I love the calmness, dog friendly and less touristy area compared to White Rock. The beaches are nice for swimming and there’s plenty of areas to walk with an Ocean View or through some treed areas. So when Sarah got in touch to book me for her wedding out at Crescent Beach this past September I was thrilled!

When the day arrived, we headed out on a beautiful sunny day that had that hint of fall that I love in September. The best of both worlds – Summer but the crispness and lower sun of Autumn. We started by checking out their reception venue at the beautiful Beecher Place which is overlooking the water on the main stretch of Crescent Beach. Then we headed to their ceremony at Holy Cross Catholic Church which was beautiful inside and full of love and emotion throughout the entire ceremony, both tears and some super cute moments. This church was stunning inside too with plenty of space and natural lighting – a luxury you don’t always get in church weddings! Then we wandered the area for family photos and of course over to my favourite part of Crescent Beach – Blackie Spit for photos. If you follow this blog & my Facebook regularly, you know I photograph here a lot for a reason! These were some amazing bridal party photos with a great group of friends who kept us laughing throughout the whole day!
