D & E’s Engagement Photography Session at Derby Reach in Langley

Darren and Esther have had one of those whirlwind romances where although they’ve known each other for a little while, their engagement is a short one! I met them only a few weeks after they got engaged in November and they are tying the knot out in Aldergrove this March! So needless to say we did not have much time to schedule their engagement session, but I’m so glad that we just played it by ear and waited for a golden opportunity – and we got one! One of my last sessions that took advantage of the snow this season, we also had a gorgeous sunny day! One of my favourite and most common places to photograph – Derby Reach – was our choice for this session and I think it fit them perfectly!

These two were the kind of couple that really solidify why I have engagement sessions. Although we got to know each other during our initial meeting – spending this time with them during the engagement session just really allowed me to dive into their personalities and get to know their world views.
