Mark & Amy’s Wedding in Yarrow [Chilliwack Wedding Photography]

They say rain is lucky for getting married and so Mark & Amy are going to be one lucky and amazing married couple! With a rainy engagement session and a partially rainy wedding, they are set for life! All kidding aside, Ryan and I headed out to Yarrow (outside Chilliwack) for Mark & Amy’s wedding a couple weekends ago to kick off our very busy 2017 season. Although I was hoping for it to look a little less like winter, they were in great spirits! We started with some getting ready with Amy at her parents home, then headed out to the wetlands to do a first look and bridal party photos. We had done a few photos here for their engagement session as well so it was fun to go back to the same spot (and see how some of the graffiti had changed). Luckily as we headed to a local school for some cover, the rain let up for some of our bridal party photos. I love this school out in Yarrow as it’s super colourful and we’ve shot there a few times. After some fun moments doing photos we headed to the big event over at their church for the ceremony and then over to the local community hall for a charming and fun reception.
